SUFFOLK PBA & SUPERIOR OFFICER UNIONS RALLY BEHIND FIGLIOLA’S CAMPAIGN FOR LEGISLATURE

Law and Order Candidate Backed by Suffolk’s Major Police Unions in District 5

East Setauket, NY – Anthony M. Figliola (R – East Setauket), candidate for Suffolk County’s Legislative District 5, has successfully secured key endorsements from Suffolk’s leading law enforcement unions: the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association (SCPBA) and the Suffolk County Superior Officers Association (SOA). Together, these unions represent over 6,000 active and retired Suffolk police officers.

Noel DiGerolamo, the SCPBA President, enthusiastically extended his personal and institutional support to Figliola’s campaign, stating, “I, along with my officers and the board, wish you the utmost success in success in the upcoming election.”

Figliola, a dedicated advocate for safety and security throughout his career, credits his strong law enforcement support to his deep commitment to the community. As a husband and father of three, he resonates with the concerns of his neighbors. “If elected in November, my primary role in the legislature will be to protect the quality of life for all Suffolk residents,” he said.

The SOA, which represents 1,000 active and retired officers, has also voiced strong support for Figliola’s campaign. “Our endorsement extends beyond mere words, as we are prepared to actively support your campaign,” proclaimed James Gruenfelder, SOA President.

Figliola expressed deep appreciation for the support of these significant law enforcement unions. “Our law enforcement personnel are more than just officers – they are our neighbors, little league coaches, and PTA moms. I want them, and their families, to be confident that the Suffolk County Legislature stands firmly behind them. We will ensure they have the necessary resources to continue safeguarding our neighborhoods,” Figliola said.
