Preserve and Promote our Parks
Our Parks
Our parkland is a vital resource for Suffolk County residents. Our county boasts some of the most beautiful and diverse natural landscapes on Long Island, and our parks offer the perfect way to experience them. Suffolk County parks provide safe and welcoming spaces for our community to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, fishing, and bird-watching.
As the father of three young children, I know the critical role that playgrounds provide in the development of social, emotional, and physical skills through play. They also offer opportunities to engage with other children, building social skills and fostering a sense of community.
I will make it a priority to maintain our current facilities and working with the community look to develop additional spaces to play.
Overall it’s crucial that we continue to invest in these public spaces, ensuring that they remain safe, clean, and accessible to all residents. By doing so, we can promote healthier, happier communities and create a legacy of beautiful outdoor spaces for generations to come.
